The Food was exquisite! The customer service was splendid very welcoming and attentive. They have option of take out, but dinning in is also very inviting. They have clean restrooms and an open concept. A 10 out of 10, definitely. We ordered a few dishes and they were all my favorite. First time to eat Malatang and this place did not disappoint. Very clean and excellent service. The food was so delicious that we finished a big bowl of food! The sweet and sour pork is the best I have ever eaten and the crunch is satisfying to the palate. Definitely highly recommend. Will bring friends to eat again here.

We ordered 2.2lb malatang, 3.5lb mala wok with (level 2) mild spicy. It was not spicy. I recommend level 3. Sweet/sour fried pork was good! Mala chicken tender was good too. I will be back later

Small spot with maybe 15-20 seats. Food comes out quick and definitely hits the spot in terms of spice and flavor. The fried buns with condensed milk are great for the burn after your meal. There’s been a couple malatang locations opening around Fort Lee, but I’ve enjoyed this one the most. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes!

This restaurant is a fantastic place for Malatang! The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The food was very satisfying, with a great selection of fresh meats and vegetables to choose from. I especially recommend the broth which was flavorful, rich, and well-balanced. The pricing is also very affordable, offering great value. Their spice levels run much hotter than usual. I typically handle spicy food well, but I could only manage the less spice level here. Overall, I would definitely visit this restaurant again!

I recently visited Xin La Gong Fu in Fort Lee, and it’s a great spot for those who love bold, spicy flavors. The restaurant specializes in Malatang, a customizable Sichuan-style hot pot, and they do it well. What I Loved: Rich, Flavorful Broth – The soup base was packed with authentic Sichuan spices, delivering the perfect balance of heat and umami. You can customize the spice level, which is great for both mild and spice lovers. Fresh Ingredients – The selection of meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles was fresh and plentiful. Everything was cooked perfectly in the broth. Fast & Efficient Service – Despite the customizable nature of the meal, the service was quick, and the staff was helpful in explaining the process. Skewers & Side Dishes – I also tried a few skewers which were solid additions to the meal

This place is my all-time favorite. If I could recommend only one place in NJ, this would be it. I literally come here just to take out a big box so I can survive the week. The peanut Mala Ban is the highlight—the peanut flavor adds a special touch to the ordinary malatang. And if by any chance you're allergic to peanuts, don't worry—everything else is just as delicious! I also love that you can pick exactly what you want in the "build your own" section. The prices are affordable, and the workers here are friendly and super nice. Definitely come check it out! The pictures below to prove that I’ve been here multiple times.

First time at this restaurant and it was very good. My wife got a dry pot and I had the shrimp fried rice. Good food and helpful service. Small dining area can accommodate about 18 to 20 people. Parking in Fort Lee can be challenging but we found on street parking.
